Summary: I’ve been visiting this hotel every year for the past 10 years and always considered it the best option in Sozopol – great location, close to town, and just a quick taxi ride to the trendy beach clubs. Unfortunately, this year I got an “upgrade” of a different kind. By booking through Expedia, I ended up with a tiny room and a view hardly worth looking at. Apparently, lower price = lower quality, and a decade of loyalty means absolutely nothing here. Too bad – I used to recommend this hotel to friends… now I’ll have to think twice myself.
